Damon Whitaker is a writer, actor, producer, director, and business consultant with a focus on the entertainment industry. Through many decades in the entertainment industry, he has acted in over thirty films/tv, and written over fifteen screen and teleplays for production companies around the world.
Damon served as VP of A&R for Spirit Dance Music ( a division of Sony 550), directed music videos including the highly reviewed “Sodom and Gomorrah” by west coast rapper Bishop Lamont. He has consulted for some of the largest companies in the world, utilizing his experience in music to supervise films, and assisting in the establishment of multiple companies.
Mr. Whitaker’s diverse acumen for the many aspects of the entertainment industry has garnered the attention of companies in South America, Africa, and Asia. As a businessman and entertainer, he has become a highly sought after asset for production companies globally. Mr. Whitaker co-founded One House Media, a multi media production house. The company has six films and four television projects in development with two films in production. The genres range from Sci-fi, period pieces, drama, comedy, fantasy, to travel and cooking.
Currently, he is the COO of One World Media Group.
